HISTORY
Nearly
150 years ago, settlers made their home in a beautiful valley
just a few miles south of Panguitch, Utah. Like many
frontier owns, Hillsdale fell into disrepair and sat idle for
years - until two new settlers discovered the beauty of the
land and began a major restoration project as the last century
came to a close.
These
new owners poured their energy and passion into Hillsdale,
purchasing many of the remaining buildings and 150 acres of
rolling hills and riverfront property. Panguitch Anglers
Inn & Fly Shop was born and life is once again thriving in
Hillsdale. The farmhouse was restored and turned into a
quaint country inn. Owls, eagles, hawks, raccoons, wild
turkeys, deer and antelope roam the land wild elusive trout
swim the streams. It's a place to getaway from it all
while you get back in touch with your soul. |
